Chosen Years

Important disclosures

We want you to use Chosen Years with clear expectations. Please read how our information works, what our evidence does and does not mean, and when to seek professional or emergency help.

Directory information can change

Pricing, availability, waitlists, licensing and facility status change often. We show when each was last confirmed and disclose when it is out of date. Always verify current details directly with a provider before making a decision.

We are not a care provider

Chosen Years is a directory and publishing platform. We do not provide senior living, medical, nursing or home care, and we do not operate any of the organizations listed.

We do not give medical, legal or financial advice

Our guides and articles are general information, not professional advice. Talk with a qualified clinician, licensed elder-law attorney, or financial professional about your specific situation.

Evidence labels are limited to the documentation described

Each inclusion label reflects a specific, dated source (a credential, a written policy, or an independent reference) and nothing more. Our page on how verification works explains exactly what each label does and does not prove.

A badge does not guarantee your experience

Documented inclusion is a strong signal, but it cannot guarantee how any individual will be treated on any given day. Use the evidence to ask better questions, then confirm what matters to you directly.

Paid placement is always labeled

Providers can pay for an enhanced or featured listing. Featured placements are clearly marked as sponsored. Payment affects visibility and presentation only.

Payment never influences evidence

A listing plan can never buy, upgrade or influence an inclusion evidence label. Evidence is reviewed separately and recorded with its source and date. This separation is core to how we operate.

Verify pricing, availability, licensing and care suitability

Before choosing or paying any provider, confirm current pricing and availability, check licensing and inspection standing with the appropriate state regulator, and make sure the care offered fits your needs.

Emergencies and urgent needs

Do not use this site for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger or needs urgent medical help, call 911 or your local emergency services, and use appropriate local crisis resources.

In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. Chosen Years is not a substitute for professional care, and nothing here should delay urgent help.
